Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ambassador Audrey Marks, as Ambassador-designate of Jamaica to the United States of America and Permanent Representative-designate to the Organisation of American States (OAS).
“Ambassador Marks brings to the post a wealth of experience in diplomacy, in business and in philanthropy. I am confident that she will continue to build upon the excellent relations we have enjoyed with our major trading and economic partner, and to which she has contributed immensely during a prior tour of duty in that jurisdiction” Minister Johnson Smith stated.
