The new Diaspora Crime Intervention and Prevention Task Force will leverage the Diaspora network of Criminal Justice practitioners to support the government and key agencies in developing the best methods of dealing with and preventing every aspect of crime. The new group is currently planning a fact finding trip to Jamaica in October and is also in the process of drafting a proposal to join the newly announced efforts of the Minister of National Security: The Hon. Robert Montague, to Redirect,” Unprecedented,” Resources to Fight Crime. The groups approach will be focused on Best Practice Sharing and Resources.
